I have several of these, but as they are kinda the holy grail for so many people the prices are always pretty high. How much did you want to spend and do you need any accessories, box, paperwork, floppies and so on?

It depends on the adaptor. Generally you are right - the Type I slot is a bit too tight and takes some force, but yeah it can be possible to squeeze a Type II card into a type I slot. So hard to decide, but i would say mine is the Instant tech PTP-20 as it is pretty small and thin, supports PCMCIA 2, it's fast and has a good BIOS (Inverted screen ftw!). So which one do you prefer and why?
