Lexicomp LC-300

Post by supernova1371 »

Hello,

I need help.

I found an old Lexicomp LC-300, it works fine. But i can't find any specs online about it. It's a chinese version.

Anybody have hints ?

xoxo.

Please post some pictures if you can. I never heard of this model, but it is most likely "just" a translator i think? Or does it use DOS?

It's main purpose is a Chinese <-> English dictionary. It also has some quite advance features (for its time). It has the usual PDA functions and more:

Contacts (with DTMF dialler)
Calendar with Scheduler
Notes
Currency conversions
Scientific calculator
Units conversions
Phrase books for 10 languages
World timezones
Lunar Calendar
Mini spreadsheet
etc.

For the time it was pretty advanced. But as it is I guess you only got fun with this specific model if you can read chinese. I do like that it has a spreadsheet, that makes it quite useful. :)
