Tidalwave PS-1000 or Clone User Manual?

Post by ArchiMark »

Hi,

Recently acquired a nice condition Tidalwave (or clone) PS-1000.

Have tried finding a 'User Manual' for this, but so far, no luck.

Does anyone know where I can download a copy of the manual?
I assume there was one for these palmtops.....at least I hope so.

Thanks for any help!

IIRC, I have a German manual on paper for a clone named "Highscreen Handy Organizer", but I can look for the details not until July 3rd.

Found it. :-)
It's a black book with a white and yellow "Pocket PC" label.
The book contains 40 pages about the system itself and the Race Pen UI, another 120 pages about the included MS Works and finally 40 pages in an appendix for MS Works and DOS.
Original author was Marc Plumb. German translation was done by Gunter R. Neeb.

I only have few technical equipment here, but I could try to take photos from the first 40 pages using my smartphone. Then with some OCR and DeepL magic you could create an English manual.

Hi,

Sorry for late reply, but did not receive any email notification of replies to my post.

Thank you so much for your offer of help.

If you can send me photos of pages, I can work on translating them to English.

Please email me to discuss further and/or send photos:
